Diamonds in the rough
I took this picture in SoHo en route to dim sum in Chinatown. I was meeting some friends for a semi-regular get-together. The last time I saw them all was when we were working on Hyoe's film. Unfortunately, I missed seeing the rough cut of the film. After brunch I was on my way to Connecticut to visit my friend's daughter, the closest I have to a niece at the moment.

Incidentally, this is the first submission I'm making to the sidewalk project.
