New York Botanical Gardens [8/8]
This past Saturday, I took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather to go to the New York Botanical Garden, up in the Bronx. I've never been before, and was surprised that I haven't. I toured the grounds, and wandered through the conservatory, taking in the Holiday Train Show (I may try posting images from that tomorrow). Afterwards I met a friend of mine for tea at the Wild Lily Tea Room, which made the entire day feel almost like a visit to southern California's Huntington Library, though on a much smaller scale.
