You rarely see coverage of the wheelchair division in a marathon it seems. The winner from this year in the men's division was Krige Schabort, who finished in a little over one hour 32 minutes. Cheri Blauwet won the women's division, cruising in at just under two hours. This person was a bit behind the front runners. He had just refused water (passing another marathoner who stopped for a drink) and was slowly making his way up the slope approaching the Madison Avenue Bridge with six miles to go.
