Pre-blog [3/3]
I'll be away for the weekend so I thought I'd try pre-blogging this series for Saturday, though someone told me that if you post something it'll just show up anyway, dated to the day you chose, even if it hasn't yet occurred.

These mannequins were set up in front of the Flatiron last week. Each had a sticker saying "replacement" on it. A video crew came by later in the afternoon to shoot them. I used to work in the building behind them on the 16th floor. It was my first job in the city. Ah, the halycon days of my youth.

Incidentally, that one mannequin looking off to frame right looks like a pre-cog from a certain film, no? Hence the double meaning for the title of this series of posts. I'll be back Monday.
