Holidays in Bryant Park
I made Christmas cookies for the first time today. Lin had invited me over last week, and we spent the afternoon baking and decorating. The colors we chose ended up not being so Christmasy, but they were festive in other ways. And in the end, Lin combined the remaining colors into a brown that suggested maple sugar or cinnamon. Though I might be giving it a little too much credit. Drop enough sprinkles on anything and it'll look good. This is a picture of the fountain in Bryant Park. A tree hovers in the background where a series of shops have been set up. I haven't shopped there, but I have walked around the shops at Union Square. Maybe I'll post some pictures from there tomorrow.
