Toy Trains [4/4]
I took these pictures at the New York Botanic Gardens in the Bronx. It was late November, and the day proved oddly warm. Toy trains were set up in the greenhouse, winding their way past famous buildings modelled out of organic materials. Walls were made from dried tobacco leaves, awnings from various other plants. Small cards detailed the construction and gave historical information on the buildings in question. One caboose stubbornly refused to stay connected, and an engineer spent some time testing the tracks, picking up the trains like a benign King Kong.
