I woke up this morning to the sounds of construction. A jackhammer chewed up the pavement around the corner from my house. Every spring they seem to tear up the same patch of ground for one reason or another. Even now I can hear cars running over the metal plate they put over the hole. This site was around 42nd street. I can't remember what they were constructing.
