Aanjar, Lebanon
Back to the Middle East. I've started scanning some of the Holga shots that I took while there. A lot of them are over-exposed. The light there was intense, and the Holga only stops down to an 11, so. . . .
This is a photograph of the Umayyid period city of Aanjar. Built in the eighth century A.D., the city was built along symmetrical Roman lines. Little remains of the pillars and buildings. Most of the site consists of foundations, save for the reconstructed sections of the great palace.
