Beautiful and fascinating. Isn't it funny that I'm nearly thirty-two and I never wondered about dyed leather? My daughter is studying ancient history in school and I thought of that as I was looking through the photos. It's amazing how some cultures hold through the centuries and some don't. So glad you shared those.

nikki » it's funny. i never thought of it either. but as soon as i heard that that's what they did there it was the first thing i wanted to see. it was so amazing. i wish i had gone on a busier day.
