the funny thing is that he was taking a foto of a friend of his lying in the snow. so someone *is* lost in the snow in that photo!

Beautiful! I wish we would get more snows like this. I remember these kind of storms fondly from my youth, all the neighbors would help each other out with shoveling, check to ensure everyone had food, warmth,etc. Too bad it takes a blizzard to bring this kindness out of people but it did and its a nice thing I long to see more of!

AJ: yeah. i wish we got more snows like this too. it's really neat to walk around and seeing everyone enjoying themselves in the park. laughing, taking pictures, sledding, holding each other up. and the city becomes so quiet.
