Empire State Building
Last week my cousin and her family were in town. She said she wanted to go to the Empire State Building. I asked her why, suggesting the Top of the Rock as an alternative. She said it was because of the movies, both King Kong and Sleepless in Seattle. She wanted to experience what it was like. I said ok.
I met her, her husband, their four kids, and my cousin Shan at the base of the building. They've slightly changed the way you access the building for the better. We waited in line to get tickets. Then we waited in line to take an elevator to a higher floor. Then we waited in line to get into another elevator to the top. We waited an hour or so. Shan and I practiced salsa moves. The kids became impatient. We stayed at the top for only fifteen minutes, but the view was still magnificent.
