I spent the spring and summer of 2002 in China. It was a relatively unplanned trip, a suggestion my father made one evening in January, and I was surprised at the level of my enthusiasm after my initial reluctance. It would be my introduction to the country, the place my parents were born. This site attempts to document my time there through photographs and journal entries.
