Golden opportunity

I went to dim sum this morning with my cousin Daniel. He started at Columbia a month ago, but I hadn't seen him since he moved to New York. We went to Golden Unicorn, but somewhat late. By the time we arrived, the lobby was packed with people waiting for a table. I walked up to the hostess and told her two. Second floor, she said. I wasn't sure I heard her correctly.
