Second snowfall
This morning snow lay over the cars on Thompson Street. It wasn't enough to cover them; glass and metal shone through a thin layer of what appeared to be feathered cornflakes. Hands had run over some of the hoods leaving arcs of metal uncovered. There were no snowballs to be found. The ground was wet. Puddles collected on the sidewalk. The air was relatively warm. It's the most snow I've seen this winter.
