PHOTOGRAPHY.

A sampling of photographs I have taken in the intervening years populating websites simple and complex. The most recent project traces a month spent in Ethiopia.

PROJECTS:

A month in Maroc. Color photos from Morocco. Taken in September of 2005.		Three weeks in the Middle East (in color!). Color photos from Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. Taken in the spring of 2004.
25 Days in Turkey. Color photos from three and a half weeks in Turkey starting in Istanbul and then heading east.		Fishkill stills. Stills from Eric Lin's production, Fishkill, a thesis project for NYU.
Three weeks in the Middle East. A small flash site exhibiting black and white photos I took in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan with a Leica iiiF and a Holga.		Governors Island and Castle William S. Photographs documenting a visit to the island and the castle with members of the Royal Shakespeare Co.
Budapest. Photos from a Thanksgiving spent in Budapest with Sophie.		Missing. Still photographs from Kit Hui's production Missing Starring Terence Yin.
Four weeks in the four corners of Sri Lanka. From Buddhist ceremonies to beautiful beaches. No wonder no less an authority than Marco Polo once dubbed it the finest island of its size in the world.		Three months in China. I spent the summer of 2002 in China, spending the first month with my father, and then taking another two to explore the southern and western regions of the country. This site contains photographs and journal entries from those months.
My girlfriend is an airline stewardess. With two weeks vacation and the end of the year approaching, I decided to spend Thanksgiving 2001 in Japan. Still, I barely scratched the surface.		S E A E K. Midway through 2000, I left my job to spend six months travelling through Southeast Asia. My first extended solo trip, I discovered the people and places to be incredibly beautiful and open, and managed to catch the travel bug bad.
Karachi. I was invited to Pakistan the first week of January 2001 to attend a friend's wedding. I am forever indebted to Ayesha Khan for the invitation and the opportunity to spend time not only with her but with her wonderful family.		Lomosite. Pictures from the first two rolls I put through my now defunkt Lomo LC-A. More photos taken with the lomo can be found in the SEAEK site above.
carte blanche pedicure. On my 32nd birthday, Mary convinced me to start a blog. I had also recently started my first photography class. This is the result.		before & happily ever after . . . Photographs of Simone and David on their wedding day. I'm not a wedding photographer, but I play one on tv.
At Night film stills. What happens when two people meet in a coffeshop at midnight.		Contax First Rolls. Winning an auction on ebay, I found myself the proud owner of a Contax T-3. This site is contains selections from the first two rolls of film I took with it.
New York. Black and white images taken with my first camera, an Olympus Stylus Epic, documenting my first few years in the city. Little did I know how long I would last.		Paris. Upon leaving for Paris, a friend told me she only wanted photographs. Bracing for the winter and borrowing her camera, I came back with these.
Bretagne. Renting a small car and racing out of Paris, I spent a quiet week at the home of a friend's grandmother. Photos taken in and around her house.
