Opera Garnier [4/4]
Happy New Year! 2006 has but begun and already I'm thinking about travels. These photos were taken at the Opera Garnier in Paris on my way back to New York from Morocco (photos from Morocco are forthcoming). It's one of my favorite theaters; on my first visit to Paris, I saw Giselle here. Then, I was sitting in the far balconies. I took photos of the Chagall painted ceiling in black and white. This time I was sitting in a box by the orchestra and I took the photos in color.
